HUMAN NESTS

While exploring the forested landscape of where I live, I discovered the existence of human habitats beneath trees, bushes, and high growing grasses. The process of finding these outdoor living locations was exciting, yet scary. I was taking my camera into areas that were secluded, and hidden. The fear of possibly getting in a confrontation, or invading an individual’s private space discouraged me from working on this project. However, I was fondly interested in the way some people were living in extremely alternative ways that were very close to the natural environment.
